Stable operation of equipment is a vital component in the electricity supply chain. Recently, we successfully completed an emergency overhaul project on the circulating water pump and induced draft fan at Indonesia’s Kendari Power Plant, injecting strong momentum into the plant’s continued efficient operation.

In response to the urgent repair task, we acted swiftly, fully aware of the critical role rotating machinery plays in the plant’s overall operation. We organized a dedicated team combining senior domestic experts and local technicians to launch a 24/7 continuous work mode. Thanks to this efficient collaboration, the repair was completed with high quality in a short period of time. The reinstalled fan has performed well in trial runs, with all operating parameters accurately meeting the owner’s requirements, providing strong support for the plant’s stable power output.

Located in Kendari, Southeast Sulawesi Province, Indonesia, Kendari Power Plant is a key power facility managed by PT. Datang DSSP Power Indonesia. The plant is equipped with two 56 MW coal-fired units, with a net installed capacity of 100 MW and an annual power generation of approximately 880 million kWh. Since its official commissioning in 2019, the plant has achieved remarkable results—five consecutive years of accident-free operation and meeting availability targets, playing a pivotal role in maintaining the stability of the Sulawesi power grid and supporting the region's economic growth.

It is worth noting that while focusing on power production, Kendari Power also actively fulfills its social responsibilities. Initiatives such as coral reef restoration contribute to the local marine ecosystem, the floating library project enriches the community’s cultural life, and the “Into the Campus” program supports talent cultivation. These actions demonstrate the plant’s strong commitment to environmental protection and community development.
